For more than 10 years of its existence, it has become a real brand associated with Thai cuisine, fashion trends, a special atmosphere and high quality. The restaurant first opened in 2014, and later acquired permanent residence in a historic place — the Radisson Collection Hotel, Moscow, on Kutuzovsky Prospekt. In 2021, it was relaunched — Alexander Rappoport's team breathed new life into it, which immediately bubbled with life. Black Thai is a modern, relevant and trending interpretation of Thai cuisine, with all its freshness, unpredictability and exoticism. The chef responsible for the Black Thai cuisine is Artyom Martirosov, whose name is well known in the Moscow restaurant industry. His handwriting is a synergy of vibrant flavors, unusual combinations, and unique presentation. The architectural firm of Anastasia Panibratova, known for projects such as "Dr. Zhivago and Beluga managed to create an interior for the renovated restaurant that looks like a lacquered oriental box full of alluring wonders. The restaurant turned out to be bright, juicy, spicy, but very modern. The main stage opens directly from the entrance: framed by immense scarlet columns, a bar counter in the form of a coiled golden dragon. Hyperrealistically depicted Thai dancers perform intricate steps on the walls. The dominant feature of the space was the antique chandelier of the hotel "Ukraine", decorated in Thai style, and on the mezzanine there is an "imperial box" — a table for twelve people with two throne chairs. The rich range of red, black and gold sets the tone for the anticipation of the festive occasion. On the menu, you can find bestsellers that have been loved by several generations of regular guests: a warm salad of crispy eggplant with lychee, a reference tom yam, Bangkok duck, green papaya salad with lychee and lime sauce.
