In 2014, restaurateur Alexander Rappaport for the first time addressed the topic of modern Russian cuisine through the prism of history, with an emphasis on early Soviet aesthetics. He created a place that is amazingly beautiful and atmospheric, where art objects are organically woven into the interior. Malevich, Petrov-Vodkin, Deineka, Samokhvalov – the snow-white hall of the restaurant welcomes guests with works by the brightest Soviet artists of the XX century. At the back is another chamber hall, similar to a Palekh casket, except that red cavalrymen rush forward on the black lacquered walls, and a ruby star crowns the golden ceiling. The "Dr." menu Zhivago" is a global collection of quotes and modern sayings on the topic of great Russian cuisine.
